Here are a few exhibitions going on around town and up in L.A. over the next couple of months. A major mentor of mine, Mark Ruwedel, has a wonderful show of new work up at Gallery Luisotti. My dear friend Yvonne Venegas has her first solo show that just opened up at Shoshana Wayne Gallery, which like Luisotti is located in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. If you make it to Bergamot definitely stop into Rose Gallery as well.

Taking Aim opens at MOPA on June 12th. The Museum also has two other exhibitions running through the Fall.
Catherine Opie: Figure and Landscape opens at the Los Angeles County Museum July 25 - October 17.
