Ken Gonzalez-Day

The University Art Gallery at UCSD will have an exhibition of two recent projects by Ken Gonzalez-Day up from March 31-May 20. The opening reception is tomorrow night at 5:30. You can find more info here.

Japan Tsunami and Earthquake Relief

Those who are interested in helping out with what is going on in Japan can buy some art with all the proceeds going to tsunami and earthquake relief. You have several photographers to choose from at wall space with life support japan. Alec Soth's Little Brown Mushroom has an artist book by Brad Zeller: Conductors of the Moving World. Jen Bekman's 20x200 has two different prints for sale here, including the work above by Joseph O. Holmes. Please give if you can...and you get some great art in return.

Palm Springs Emerging Photographer Scholarship

Charles Johnstone: Thirty-Four Basketball Courts opens this Friday at Joseph Bellows Gallery. There will be a reception with the artist on January 21st. The show runs January 21 - February 25.
